Objectives

Successful enterprises do not only produce competitive products, they also obtain long-term decisive competitive advantages by using process innovations. Process innovations are related to the production process of products and services as well as to the planning, controlling and supporting processes in an enterprise. The Division of Corporate Management develops methods and tools for a distributed and computer-based realization of a synchronous enterprise and applies these methods within the framework of consulting projects. The objective is an effective, efficient and human centred design of performance related processes in an enterprise.

R&D Topics

Our competencies range from strategic planning, to building of management systems, to designing process organizations, to enterprise planning, to conceptionalizing, selecting and implementing software, and to change management. We address these topics methodologically with a process-oriented approach. For that purpose we have developed a variety of methods and software tools for simulating the respective processes.

Business Areas

The focus of research of the Division of Corporate Management is not limited to any specific area of business. Projects are carried out and planned with private enterprises from a wide variety of business sectors as well as with public institutions. Many of our projects involve international partners. A specific focus is on the East- and South- East-Asian regions.
