Fraunhofer IPK currently employs over 260 researchers, graduate and postgraduate students and administrative staff. Our laboratories, the central experimental hall (the "Versuchsfeld") and the offices cover more than 7 100m².

The overall budget in 2005 amounted to 13,1 million Euro. About 4,3 million Euro were funds from industrial projects and 4,9 million Euro were public funds. The self-financing ration was 80 percent.
